Rodeo Uncorked! Wine Events

Wines from around the world enter this elite, privately judged competition held in November. Winning wines can be tasted during the Roundup & Best Bites Competition and at the Champion Wine Garden.

The 2019 International Wine Competition judging included 3,156 entries from 18 different countries, including Argentina, Austria, Chile, France, Italy, Japan, Portugal and South Africa. Texas wineries represented 413 entries, and 370 entries came from this year’s featured region, California’s Central Coast.

Double-Barrel Sampler Case

Great for your cellar or as a gift! This 12-bottle case of award-winning wines comes in a Rodeo Uncorked! branded commemorative wooden case for $650. Wines are selected following the Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition.

Join us to support the Rodeo by participating in one of the world’s largest gourmet food events paired with more than 400 award-winning wines, including the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion of the International Wine Competition. At the Rodeo Uncorked! Roundup & Best Bites Competition, you will have the opportunity to sample signature dishes from approximately 100 of the area’s top restaurants and culinary institutions, and vote for your favorites in the Best Bites Competition.

The Rodeo Uncorked! Champion Wine Auction and Dinner is an exciting way to kick off the Rodeo season. Begin your evening with an exquisite cocktail hour, including an exciting silent auction where you can bid on unique wines, unforgettable trips, and other great items. Then join us in the ballroom to enjoy a sumptuous seated dinner complemented by champion wines. Following dinner, you and your guest can join the excitement by bidding on award-winning wines to support the Rodeo. Purchased items are available immediately following the auction for you to take home.

Auction tables (seats 10) are available for $6,000, $9,000, $12,000 and $25,000. The total table price may be applied toward your live auction bids.
